Marta Farevaag

Marta Farevaag is coordinating the Milestones in Vancouver Planning History course being given as ENDS482D by the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. She has worked as an urban planning consultant in Vancouver for over 40 years and has been involved in many of the City's planning initiatives as a planner or interested citizen. She is the Planning Principal of PFS Studio, formerly Phillips Farevaag Smallenberg, a Vancouver-based firm practicing in Planning, Urban Design, and Landscape Architecture.

Marta is a Registered Professional Planner and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planning. In 2014, she was named an Honourary Member of the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects. She has a long-standing interest in heritage and history and is currently Chair of the Vancouver Heritage Foundation.
